Yes. Subject to disclosure agreements, any spatial data held by UCDP can be published as an ESRI Shapefile. The data can also be published as a Web Feature Service (WFS). ArcGIS users who have activated the Data Interoperability extension can connect to UCDP data published as WFS.
On connecting ArcGIS to WFS, see: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/Working_with_WFS_services/00370000000m000000/
UCDP is currently expanding geographic data download options. Geographic data will soon be available in several formats for flexible use in ArcGIS as well as other GIS programs and web GIS tools.
Many of the data visualizations on this site are made with a program called Weave. Weave applications are data intensive and may take 10-20 seconds to load. A slower internet connection can significantly lengthen loading time.
Many of the data visualizations on this site are made with a program called Weave. Weave is not yet supported on most mobile devices. You will not be able to access all available data visualizations with a mobile device.
If you are using a desktop or laptop computer, Adobe Flash Player is required to use Weave in a web browser. Ensure that Flash Player is installed. Also note that Weave applications are data intensive and may take 10-20 seconds to load.
A desktop or laptop computer will offer you the best experience on our site. Much of our available content cannot be viewed on mobile devices. If you use a mobile device, navigating to the data you need will be more difficult, and several data visualizations will not be accessible. We are working to improve the functionality of the site for mobile devices.
